The "Albert Schweitzer Stiftung für unsere Mitwelt" is committed to the protection and rights of animals and the vegan lifestyle. Their work is strategically orientated and relies on leverage: They aim to accomplish as much as possible for the animals with their limited budget.

For the redesign, the website design had to be analysed for accessibility and implemented with fewer barriers in some areas. This makes it more user-friendly overall, but it is not officially
barrier-free in terms of WCAG criteria.
Colours: The defined corporate colours green and blue presented us with a particular challenge, as they do not meet the WCAG criteria (AA).
The colour palette was expanded to include darker tones.
Fonts: Small font sizes below 16px and the smallest decorative icons were revised to create a more accessible experience.

The old website was fundamentally revised and transferred to a new CMS. The website offers editorial content that reports on the foundation's petitons and provides general information on animal husbandry.
